first: can't cut cloud from horizon
second: alls gotta gutter hospice waiting on fresh x-ed eyes,
& nobody looks at piled dead leaves and thinks about the differentiating sizes
so breath slow
draw loose your shoelace and shed twig bow
winds treat everything we ever did the same,
doesn't that comfort you also?
doesn't that comfort you also?
the sun wakes and rests above people like me
the sun wakes and rests above people like we
haven't you also seen an uncountable number of things
their fields twirling a perfect ring
this man hands brand pigment drained basin
is the root of all sidewalk orientated pacing
death to the colorless basin
*want for exacto knife extended on high to threaten the stars down from the night
*lack of breeze caught kite gifting your feather bare limbs and evenings flight
we as prey to the gravity of extra human heights
we as projectors for a globes tender light
and if you miss the
and if you miss the sun sing it back through the thicket of the night
thread your voice into the void so it can find it's way home every time
about
this rap is about doing what you can with what you got in a universal context. ie. singing to the sun before you die. also it is about how a fear of death can empower you to do what you need to do ie. singing to your friends. it's an early rap from our early days. lol. cuteness.
